House Ear Campaign

At the core of this public awareness campaign aimed at teens was the character of “Ear Bud”, a larger than life character imbued with a mix of attitude and offbeat humor. His job was to draw attention to House Ear Institute’s message about the perils of noise-induced hearing loss. The 30 second TV spot ran on MTV and tied in with an informational web site. The Institute loved the character so much they trotted him out for appearances at various events.
