In 2018 I was hired to up-level the website of the Research group within Adobe Systems. As is sometimes the case with niche internal groups like this, the website was not maintained by the corporate website team and was hosted outside the company’s web servers. Since they weren’t under the corporate microscope so much, the Research group was able to develop the site to their own desires, although it also meant a leaner budget and fewer support resources. I saw my role as satisfying my client’s desire to project an image that measured up to or exceeded that of their peers, while ensuring that the visual design consistently expressed core components of the Adobe brand.
