I was hired to up-level the website of the Research group at Adobe Systems. As is sometimes the case with niche internal groups, the website was not maintained by the corporate website team, and was hosted by an outside provider. Not being under the corporate microscope so much allowed the group to develop the site to their own desires, although it also meant a leaner budget and fewer support resources. I saw my role as satisfying my client’s desire to project an image that measured up to or exceeded that of their peers, while ensuring that the visual design consistently expressed the Adobe brand.
